Your picnic will be packed with all the trappings in our homemade lobster trap baskets, from a blanket to napkins. Our Clark Bar chefs will whip up lobster rolls bursting with the freshest local lobster and a whisper of mayonnaise. We’ll add some Maine potato chips for crunch, a Maine Root soda, and for dessert, a house-made whoopie pie. This perfect picnic for two can be enjoyed on the lawn, on Clark Island or taken on the road to go.

Once you’ve reserved your evening at The Chef’s Table, Executive Chef Gil Plaster will reach out with a personal call. In a short, easy conversation, he’ll listen—your tastes, your curiosities, any dietary needs that help shape the night. From there, he begins to craft your experience, whether you’re dreaming of a indulgent meal or hoping to give him full creative freedom. This is your private journey through flavor, guided by the hands and imagination of our chef. During dinner, he’ll make a special appearance tableside. Each course is thoughtfully paired with wine, and gratuity is included—so when the evening ends, all that’s left to do is stroll happily back to your room. The Chef’s Table is available only on Friday and Saturday nights at The Causeway and requires a two week advance reservation.
