Breakfast Cook

Come work behind the scenes and craft breakfast for inn guests! Breakfast cook is responsible for preparing breakfast for 20 – 35 guests each morning. The menu is simple (think pancakes, fried eggs, poached eggs, and oatmeal), but we make everything from scratch, with fresh local ingredients. Guests pre-order their breakfast, so you know what you will be making ahead of time. You will typically arrive at 6:30a.m. to prep food and finish around 11a.m. You will work alongside Lauren, and one server who help run the food and communicate with the kitchen guests needs. Occasionally you may help wash pots and pans, and prep various stations. A love of mornings is helpful! Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. On the job training is provided.

Responsibilities include:

  • prepare ingredients and food for breakfast service
  • cook food and plate items
  • track inventory of breakfast items

Line Cook

Want to learn from a seasoned chef and be part of a creative team? We invite you to learn new techniques and come to work in a kitchen with a great team and picturesque ocean views. Our ideal candidate will have experience as a cook, but we are willing to train the right candidate. You will have a vested interest in working as a part of a team. You must display a positive, professional attitude and have good communication skills. Ideal candidate will be flexible, willing to learn, and be dependable.

The restaurant is open 5 days per week (closed Tuesday & Wednesday).

Food Runner

We are looking for a food runner to join our team. Hours are 4p.m. until the job is done, usually 10 p.m. Start date will be mid-June.

We work together to guarantee our restaurant guests have an amazing dining experience. Each Food Runner is responsible for delivering food to customer’s tables in an efficient manner.

The food runners will

  • maintain the cleanliness of the expo line
  • help with organization of order tickets
  • communicate effectively with kitchen team

 

This position requires strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who loves to be organized. You must have a positive attitude, reliable, and fun! You should also like physical work and can carry heavy loads of food to tables. We offer fair wages, tips, and a beautiful place to work. We can work with your schedule. Ideally looking for someone to work four to five days per week.
