Our Philosophy and Practice

Our Licensed Massage Therapist provides each guest with a personalized consultation. Target sore muscles and areas of concentrated tension in the body. Into each session we integrate multiple somatic techniques including:

Craniosacral Therapy
A style of bodywork that alleviates stress around the skull, spinal column and sacrum to increase the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in order to help regulate the central nervous system. Craniosacral brings relief to headaches, jaw tension, scoliosis, chronic pain, and anxiety through gentle manipulation to the sutures of the skull and by lengthening tissues around the spine.

Deep Tissue Massage
A technique that works to lengthen and relax deep tissue. This type of massage may help manage pain and increase a person’s range of motion. Your massage practitioner will apply slow, firm pressure with intention and expertise. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia.

Lymphatic Movement
This trending modality can be a quality of life altering tool for individuals whose lymphatic system is compromised from surgery, illness or injury. A powerful panacea for swelling and inflammation, lymphatic drainage massage can stimulate the body’s systems for improved comfort, increased energy, and leave you feeling lighter.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial release works the broader network of muscles that might be causing your pain. These areas where the massage therapist is working may not be near where the pain originates or where you feel the pain most prominently. Paired with reflexology of the face, hands and feet, this treatment releases tension throughout your body by targeting trigger points across a broad section of your muscular system.

Your skilled practitioner will tailor each massage based on your objectives for the session and overall physiological needs.
